Well, we took my parents to the airport today (they are now home safe) really early (we had to drop them off at 7 AM). We decided since we were already in Cleveland, to do some bookstores. Our biggest problem was finding stuff to do until they opened at 10! We went to breakfast, then the mall (which is open, but the stores aren't) so Adam could play in playland. We also hit Target (who open at 8). We drove around a bit and found a cool historic district (not open!) and finally went back to the bookstores, which were finally now open. We hit them (found a few books, took back a bag as well...I think we actually came home with fewer than we left with, always a good thing for us) and then went to Ray's store in the mall (and Adam got more playtime at the playland). We found a cool new kids toys store in the mall that we checked out (some ideas for Christmas....we are thinking train set for Adam....he adores Thomas the Train at Barnes and Noble). We then went to Friday's for lunch (I wanted to go) and then went home and were home pre-nap time, although Adam never did got to sleep (today was a messed up day....was to be expected....it will take some time for him to settle - he needs some downtime). We then walked to the park as we had GORGEOUS Indian summer weather. Adam was pretty tired all evening and needs a good night sleep. He had SO much fun with Grandma and Grandpa, but with the trip to CT and everything else is definitely ready for some downtime. We are actually going to Iowa next weekend, so I'm definitely going to keep this week as low key as possible for him. We are going to see Amy, Warren and ADDIE!!! We meant to go before my parents came, but Ray was too crazy at work, so we are going now - hopefully the roads will be good!
Otherwise (except for needing a root canal), we are all fine (pickle included).
