Lost and Found...Kent State

While I remember being totally lost the first week or so at UND, I never remember the constant feeling of being lost that I feel at Kent State. Granted as a grad student I never go to much more than one or two buildings, but still....

This campus is in CIRCLES that go UP as it is very hill. So sidewalks just stop and disappear. It is very annoying! I had to find a new building today to apply to graduate - very annoying! UND is at least mostly squares!

I really need to learn this campus!

but the real question is....
is the campus even more confusing than the inside of a 7-11?

(you'll never live that down. not until I run out of blinker fluid.)

That was low! Although I did spend part of today lost in rural Virginia....and of course Ray teased me about it!

That's not low! It's an anecdote.
I think everybody gets lost in rural Virginia. That's probably the only reason anybody lives there.
Were you in Virginia on purpose?

Yes...I went to Manassas on Tuesday and Monticello on Wednesday. It was getting BACK from Monticello that really got me lost - and it is all Mapquest's fault! I a few other mishaps, but mainly just missed turns, which are easy to rectify. I did spend an hour lost in Arlington until I gave up on that and went to Manassas!

And anecdote or not, it is rude to bring TWO past misjudgements at the same time!

now, now...
you're not the only person to whom I've said "not until I run out of blinker fluid".
besides, I chalk that one up to being nervous about the wedding. you were a bit preoccupied.

I blame it all on Brian - it was his joke anyway!
